COURSE OUTLINES AND SUMMARIES:

1. Video Management System (VMS)

VICADS® System Administrator and Operator Training – consists of four days of instruction complete with theory, lecture, and hands-on labs. On the fifth day, students will be tested to verify comprehension of the class material. This course is designed to ensure that each student is equipped with the knowledge required to operate, administer and perform basic troubleshooting on VICADS Video Management Systems. Students are expected to be present for the duration of the class and must achieve a passing score on the test in order to attain “Factory Trained” status

2. LINX™ Predator Elite Factory Certification & Training Modules and Description:

- – LINX™ Predator Elite Operation, Administration and Maintenance Course (7 days):

LPE Basic Operator Training (3 days) – this training details the operator functionality of LPE command and control environment. Students will learn how to manage alarms, issue commands to devices, navigate video, traverse graphics, and perform key actions associated with the Runtime Toolbar environment. Students must be capable of assessing and responding to situations as proficiently and efficiently as possible.
LPE Card Holder Management and Biometric Enrollment Training (1/2 day) – this module teaches credential enrollment to include biometric capture and verification.
LPE Systems Administrator Training (1/2 day) – understanding the reporting capabilities for alarms, transactions, evacuations, and system audit trails. It will cover techniques for creating canned reports and how to filter and sort data.
LPE Maintenance & Troubleshooting Training (3 days)
This training details the maintenance requirements of the LPE command and control system including the following area:

Students will be focused on understanding the different sub-systems and components that are used in the site installation and how to apply troubleshooting techniques.
Students will learn how to use key system components and proven methodologies, such as system status, field controller LEDs, audit logs, etc. to diagnose and repair failures.
Understanding the reporting capabilities for alarms, transactions, evacuations, and system audit trails. It will cover techniques for creating canned reports and how to filter and sort data.
Students will learn to perform key actions associated with the Editor, Authorization, and System Admin Toolbar.
Student will be capable of performing daily system administration tasks.
Students will learn how to use key system components and proven methodologies, such as system status, field controller LEDs, audit logs, etc. to diagnose and repair failures.
Student must be capable of assessing and repairing system failures as efficiently and effectively as possible and in a reasonable amount of time.
